You can hike in our mountains in beautiful Salzburger Land at almost any altitude. The Flachau / Flachauwinkl region is one of the most beautiful and contrasting hiking regions in Austria.

The Hotel Wieseneck is located approx. 6 kilometres into the valley from the centre of Flachau and is the direct starting point for numerous hikes of various degrees of difficulty.

Hike to the source of the Enns and the managed Enns alpine pastures or visit the idyllic Marbachtal, where a total of three alpine huts are managed. Let yourself be spoilt with alpine cheese, wood-fired bread, farmer’s doughnuts, mushroom goulash or blackberry gnocchi. All these delicacies are of course made by the alpine dairymen themselves. The Salzburg alpine summer is a holiday experience for gourmets, nature lovers and recreation seekers alike.

Summit ascents, such as the Faulkogel, Lackenkogel, Ennskrax’n etc. peaks are also possible directly from the Hotel Wieseneck in Flachau in Salzburger Land. We are always happy to help you with advice and guidance on the hiking routes or tours.
