Therme Amadé in Altenmarkt-Zauchensee

The newly built Therme Amadè in Altenmarkt-Zauchensee, in the neighbouring village of Flachau, is a highlight for young and old. On an area of approx. 30,000 sqm you will find everything your heart desires, from bathing fun to pure relaxation. 60% of the water areas are covered, 40% are outdoors. The two large outdoor pools can be reached via a swim-through channel from the indoor area and are operated all year round due to the pleasantly high water temperatures.

The pools of the Therme Amadè are enriched with salt from Bad Ischl, a tried and tested remedy for a long time. With the exception of the sports pool, the children’s pool and the wave pool, all the pools are enriched with 1.5 – 2.5 % brine. Brine is known to have a positive effect on the skin and respiratory organs. For this reason, brine treatments are offered in the form of inhalations, e.g. in the brine steam bath, and for external use in the brine bath.

The wave pool, a 25-metre sports pool with 1-metre and 3-metre diving boards and spacious warm-water pools with different concentrations of brine provide plenty of fun. The “Black Hole” tunnel slide invites you to a 50-metre journey in the dark and delights children and teenagers as well as adults. For the action-packed guests, there is the unique looping slide which guarantees fun and excitement.
